It's Summertime... Mojito Party Time!

 

How to have your Perfect Drink?

 With the original "La Bodeguita del Medio" recipe directly from Cuba!

Ricetta Originale

• Rum bianco cubano (5cl.)
• il succo di mezzo lime
• 2 cucchiaini di zucchero di canna raffinato bianco
• un rametto di menta (8-9 foglie)
• ghiaccio a cubetti
• acqua gasata (o soda).

Si prepara ponendo sul fondo del bicchiere (tumbler)
due cucchiaini di zucchero di canna bianco e il succo di mezzo lime.
Gli ingredienti vanno amalgamati insieme e a questo punto si aggiunge la menta,
che non dev'essere pestata ma solo lievemente premuta e mescolata
con il succo e lo zucchero (in modo che dalla menta non si sprigionino le note amare),
successivamente si unisce il ghiaccio, il Rum bianco, e infine l'acqua gasata.
Il composto ottenuto viene servito con una cannuccia e un rametto di menta decorativo.
